Toddler-friendly, no-cook finger-food snack of peeled kiwi sticks and halved or whole ripe blackberries suitable for baby-led weaning from 10 months. Soft, easy-to-hold pieces encourage independent feeding and exploration of textures and natural sweetness.
Store any leftover prepared fruit in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours for best texture and flavour. Whole unprepared fruit will keep longer, but prepared pieces will soften—avoid freezing and re-serving thawed pieces to a young child.
Watch for signs of allergic reaction, especially with kiwi (oral itching, rash, swelling, vomiting). If this is the first time offering kiwi, introduce a small amount and wait 48 hours before offering other new foods. Always supervise to reduce choking risk and ensure your toddler is seated upright. If you are concerned about choking risk, cut fruit into larger sticks or consult your paediatrician.
