How we use AI

We use AI to generate meal plans and recipes, provide Baby Journey insights, and create media (images and text). Our goal is to enhance your experience while being transparent and safe.

Where we use AI

• Meal plans (/meal_plan_v2): Generates plans tailored to your inputs (preferences, restrictions, goals).
• Recipes (/meal_plan_v2, /meal_plan): Generates recipes based on your selections.
• Baby Journey Insights (/baby-journey): Produces personalized insights about your baby. Not medical advice.
• Images (blog, social, recipes): We create or enhance images using AI tools.
• Text (blog, social): AI assists the drafting process; our team edits and approves final content.

What data we process and why

• Inputs you provide: selections and text (e.g., dietary preferences, goals), language/locale, and interaction signals (e.g., which features you use).
• Minimization: We avoid unnecessary personal data and filter sensitive details where possible.
• Purpose: Provide features, improve quality and safety, and prevent abuse.

Vendors and roles

• Vendors: We use reputable AI providers.
• Roles: We act as the controller. Vendors are processors under our instructions.
• Region/transfers: Data may be processed in different countries. We use safeguards (e.g., DPAs, SCCs).
• Training: We disable vendor training on user data unless we explicitly ask for and obtain your consent.

Retention

Prompts and outputs are retained for a limited time for debugging, safety, and service improvement, then deleted or de-identified.

Automated decision-making and personalization

Some features personalize content using automated systems. These do not produce legal or similarly significant effects. Where available, you can adjust personalization settings or opt out.

Safety, accuracy, and limitations

• AI can make mistakes. Nutrition, allergens, and baby-related insights may be incomplete or inaccurate.
• Always verify important information and consult professionals for medical advice.

Children/baby-related safeguards

• Baby Journey Insights are for parents/guardians. Please avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information.
• We minimize child-related data and only process what is necessary for the feature to work.

Your choices and rights

• Manage personalization where available.
• Request human review for decisions that significantly affect you.
• Exercise your privacy rights as described in our Privacy Policy.
